Oily spill & floating debris recovery work cat

Built in naval grade aluminium, the WorkCat Puffin is the best way to recover debris and oily spill water in marinas, harbours, inshore and offshore.
Its small dimensions make it easily transportable by means of a standard lorry without any special permission; it can be very quickly there where it’s needed. The first unit has been in service in the Port of Tarragona since 2014.
Two hydraulically operated folding panels with adjustable opening allow increasing the sweep area.
The foldable gird-basket collect and dump the floating debris inside the container, and give also service like strainer to protect the skimmer.
The SeaHow skimmer with a floating system is always in best depth during the cleaning operations.
Puffin is propelled by means of two hydraulic pods of 80 Hp each one, by means of two hydraulic pumps drive for a diesel engine in the deck. This engine also drives the hydraulic pump to move all the hydraulic devices on board:
– A crane to replace the container.
– Te lube pump to fill and to empty the 4 oil recovery tanks of 5 m3 of total capacity.
– The panels
– And anti fire pump to collaborate in case of fire.
The Puffin can operate carrying 2T of in the deck (removing the container and the skimmer and covering his hole.
